what is cte?

Career Technical Education (CTE) Programs are designed for students who are interested in full certificate programs or individual classes that will update their skills, prepare them for a vocation change and equip them with the necessary tools to start their careers in the workplace. All pathways result in industry-recognized certification.

Health Pathways

Have you considered a career in the medical field? We offer low cost, high quality training that will prepare you for the workforce and continuing your education in the field you have chosen.

Information Technology

Whether it’s a promotional opportunity you are preparing for or a new career in the field of Office Professional, we can help. This is a growing workforce where trained individuals are in high demand.

Education Professional

Paraprofessionals is a great start to your career in education. This pathway offers opportunities to become employed immediately after completion with our local school district.

Service Industry

Prepare for a career in our custodial program as you learn everything needed to be competitive in this growing industry. You will receive both classroom and hands-on instruction.

Media & Production

This pathway is for students interested in user experience, interaction design, and creative production. Students studying media and production will develop their skills in sound design, video production, and digital fabrication.


TABE TESTING DATES

Tuesdays at 1:30 PM • Fridays at 9:30AM

The TABE test passing score is a pre-requisite for all medical courses/pathways as well as the paraprofessional pathway that could lead to potential employment with Fresno Unified School District.

Please sign-up at the CTE desk in the main office at least a week prior to the testing date.
