MEDIA & PRODUCTION

Students will learn basic media and production competencies by examining media messages from news outlets, entertainment and advertising. Students will use the theories discussed in the class to write scripts, create short videos and produce a 10-minute weekly student news cast.

Pre-Requisites: Attend CTE orientation, a minimum score of 216 on placement test or High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Certificate and completion of Computers in the Workplace course.
